Amar Bahadur Timalsina is a globally recognized advocate for the dignity, rights, and inclusion of people affected by Hansen’s disease (leprosy). From rural Nepal to the United Nations, his journey is one of transformation—rising from social exclusion to becoming a powerful voice in public health and social justice.
Currently serving as the Global Network Coordinator for IDEA International, Amar bridges the gap between grassroots realities and high-level international policy to dismantle stigma and secure legal reforms worldwide.
