Biography
Amar Bahadur Timalsina is a globally recognized advocate for the dignity, rights, and inclusion of people affected by Hansen’s disease (leprosy). Rising from a childhood marked by poverty and social exclusion in rural Nepal, he transformed his life through resilience and education.
Today, Amar bridges grassroots realities with high-level decision-making, working tirelessly at the United Nations and the World Health Organization to dismantle stigma and secure legal reforms for marginalized communities.
